Exporting your transcript

Four export formats plus plain copy, all from the export menu in the transcript view.

The formats

  • TXT: plain text. Paste it anywhere: notes, documents, a CMS, an AI assistant.
  • Word (DOCX): a formatted document, ready to edit or share with people who live in Word.
  • SRT: the standard subtitle format. Drop it into a video editor or upload it alongside your video.
  • VTT (WebVTT): the subtitle format for web players and HTML5 video.

Your edits carry over

Corrections and hidden filler words are applied before export, and so are speaker renames. What you download matches what you cleaned up on screen, in every format.

Subtitles from any file

SRT and VTT exports include timestamps, so a podcast episode, a lecture recording, or a meeting video becomes a subtitle file without extra work. If captions are your main goal, upload the video file directly and export SRT when it is done.
