Delete transcripts or your account

Delete specific transcripts

Email info@filetotext.ai from the address on your account and tell us which transcripts to remove (file names or the transcript links both work). We delete the transcripts and the associated media files, then confirm by reply.

Delete your entire account

Same address, one line: “delete my account”. We remove your account with all transcripts and uploaded files, and confirm when it is done. If you have an active subscription, we cancel it as part of the same request so nothing renews afterwards. You can also cancel it yourself first from your billing page if you prefer.

What gets removed

• Your uploaded media files and every transcript made from them.
• Your account and sign-in.
• What remains: some payment records are retained where the law requires it, as described in the privacy policy.

Before you go

Deletion is permanent, so export anything you want to keep first: TXT, DOCX, SRT, or VTT. And if you are leaving because a transcript let you down, that is covered by the no-questions refund. Mention it in the same email and we handle everything at once.
